Your Cloud

The aliens invade my city.
Wandering, looking lost, out of place.
A young man’s plea from a doorway; he’s singing.
Shadows burn the floor, and his face.

Again we’ve been caught up.
Entangled in obsession.
Jump from the edge of your cloud.

The mind lasts a lifetime. No matter.
Neuro-electric rapture all day.
We’ll pass the leaping sheep, the noise, work and pain.
Our self importance must go away.

Again we’ve been caught up.
Entangled in obsession.
Jump from the edge of your cloud.
